Almost Here!

New Year, New Choices.

At the turn of every year I try to look ahead and assess what new goals, experiences and purchases I might want to consider in the months ahead. A big new year’s decision for many of us is our choice of transportation.  This decision generally boils down to three things…you can fix up your current vehicle, purchase a certified pre-owned vehicle, or lease or purchase a new vehicle. Ultimately, the decision is yours, but as the largest vehicle dealer in New England we are here to support you whichever way you go.

2007 Mercedes-Benz M-Class
New diesel and AMG versions.
by permission of New Car Test Drive

The M-Class SUV might be the Swiss Army Knife in the Mercedes-Benz lineup. It isn't so large that it's cumbersome or hard to park, but it comfortably seats five and carries plenty of stuff. As daily transportation, it doesn't feel like a truck, and it won't beat its driver or passengers up. Yet it has the potential for some fairly serious off-road adventuring, and it can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The M-Class is more than powerful enough in any of its variations, with the safety equipment, luxury accoutrements, style and smooth finish expected of a Mercedes-Benz.

Night at the Museum
Fun, spooky, unreal!
Courtesy Kirk Honeycutt, Hollywood Reporter

Milan Trenc's whimsically illustrated "The Night at the Museum," about a New York Natural History Museum night guard who discovers the displays have a habit of doing the "Jumanji" thing once visitors go home, has been turned into a big, loud movie (minus the "The") starring Ben Stiller.

2007 Honda Fit
All-new subcompact is fun, inexpensive and practical.
by permission of New Car Test Drive

The Honda Fit is probably the best car in its class, particularly when measured in terms of performance and handling as well as interior packaging and versatility. It's quick, smooth and enjoyable to drive. It gets an EPA-rated 38 mpg on the highway. It's cute. And it's extremely practical, with back seats that flip fore and aft, allowing it to carry long items, tall items and just lots of stuff.

2007 Ford Fusion
All-wheel drive option adds foul weather capability.
by permission of New Car Test Drive

The 2007 Ford Fusion is an excellent choice among midsize sedans and should not be overlooked. The Fusion was introduced as an all-new vehicle for 2006 and it's a superb car. It handles well, looks purposeful, it's comfortable, and it delivers good value.

All-wheel drive is a new option for 2007, and we found the new, all-wheel-drive Ford Fusion extremely stable on wet pavement.

“There is an old saying about the strength of the wolf is the pack, and I think there is a lot of truth to that. On a football team, it's not the strength of the individual players, but it is the strength of the unit and how they all
function together.”

-Bill Belichick, New England Patriots
