March 2008

A St. Patrick's Day Limerick
There once was a man from Nantucket,
Who was poaching fish near Pawtucket,
He found himself wishing,
to spend his life fishing,
And wound up in his minnow bucket.

No Time? How About Full SERVICE Sundays!
Letter To Our Readers

I am constantly visiting our forty-four locations throughout Massachusetts & Rhode Island and each time I make it a point to get out on the showroom floor to talk with our guests and visit our service departments to learn what’s on our clients’ minds. Invariably, the conversation turns to my favorite subject, our customers’ happiness with the sales & service of their vehicles.

In a recent visit, a customer commented that while maintaining his vehicle in great condition was a top priority...

2009 Mini Clubman
New wagon version practical yet just as sporty
by permission of New Car Test Drive

BMW's Mini division introduced the Mini Cooper in 2002 as a premium subcompact car. The Mini Cooper gets rave reviews for its go kart driving dynamics, but the small size and lack of cargo space are issues for some buyers. Now comes Mini's answer to that dilemma: the Mini Cooper Clubman.

With more cargo and passenger room, and as much fun-to-drive factor as its little brother, the Mini Cooper Clubman is easier to live with and may actually be a better value.

While the latest data from the National Retail Federation shows that consumers were more focused on buying necessities than discretionary items in January, industry experts say outdoor retailers aren't too worried. That's because stores are offering hot spring gear--at a range of prices--that can be used equally as well on a trail run in Nepal as in your favorite state park.

 Spring Training!

"Spring training is a time to relax, at the same time start getting ready for the season. I always get excited. Just on the way down here, you know, driving and stuff, you think about what happened last year, going out there and doing it again. You turn the radio up loud. You cruise. It's always a fun time of the year for me."
