Three Reasons to Buy in July!
Federal & State Tax and Herb Chambers SAVINGS Opportunities

I'm particularly excited to announce three tremendous savings opportunities for customers purchasing new

vehicles beginning in the month of July! These are a combination of federal savings opportunities in addition to a state sales tax savings of 25% if you purchase a vehicle before August 1, 2009.

Save on this news:

Here's a little known vehicle purchase advantage; there's a federal income tax deduction for sales, excise taxes on new vehicles purchased by December 31, 2009. This makes sales and excise taxes deductable on your 2009 federal income taxes; resulting in savings of possible thousands of dollars depending upon the cost of your vehicle purchase.

2010 Lexus RX
All-new, with more technology but less complexity.

As vehicles become more complex, driving becomes more like operating a computer. Yet the new 2010 Lexus RX 350 and RX 450h seems uncommonly easy to operate. And they are brimming with new technology. If the RX were a computer, and in more ways than ever, it is, it would have a plug-and-play operating system and an inviting, engaging user interface.

This third-generation Lexus RX has been updated in dozens of ways to make it more efficient, more comfortable, and broadly more advanced than the previous generation. It's quieter, safer, and more driver-friendly. And in our opinion, better looking as well. If you like the current RX 330, you'll love the Lexus RX 350.

Movie Review: Public Enemies
Courtesy reelreviews.com

There's something almost old-fashioned about Michael Mann's Public Enemies, a mostly factual re-telling of the descent and death of John Dillinger (Johnny Depp), one of the 1930s most infamous bank robbers. More drama than thriller, the movie does a slightly better job with period detail than with character building. While Dillinger is sympathetically portrayed, he falls just short of full three-dimensionality, with the character never quite emerging from the shadow of the real-world legend. Dillinger's pursuer, Federal agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale), fares worse: he's a perfect stereotype of the grim, humorless lawman, bent on delivering justice to criminals by using the business end of a firearm.

2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK
New compact SUV feels like a Mercedes.

For decades, Mercedes-Benz offered only coupes, sedans, station wagons and convertibles in the U.S. market. There was only one SUV in the product portfolio, the G-Class, but it wasn't sold in the United States until a few years ago. Then came the M-Class mid-size SUV, the big R-Class crossover, and the big GL-Class.

Now comes the compact GLK. It was to look like a GL, act like a G-Class off-road, and be shorter, lighter, and more economical to own and drive than some of the larger SUVs in the lineup.

The Mercedes-Benz GLK is the first compact SUV ever built by Mercedes...

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

The Hyundai Genesis is a svelte new two-door Coupe that goes on sale in 2009 as a 2010 model.

Hyundai's concept coupe was a hit at the greater Los Angeles auto show in the Fall of 2007. It piqued the interest of those looking for a sharp looking rear-drive sports car at an affordable price.

Chef's Corner
Garlic Mojo Hot Dogs

Mojo is a Cuban sauce made from the juice of sour oranges (or, in this case, a mix of orange juice and lime juice). It's truly versatile—the sauce works as a marinade or salsa for beef, fish, pork, and poultry—so no wonder it tastes great with hot dogs, too.

Mojito Cocktail
Cuban Surprise!

A delightful twist on this classic Cuban cocktail from the Tailor Restaurant in New York City-- as a sweetener, the traditional sugar syrup is traded for superfine sugar; which gives the drink a slightly grainy texture.

...Terry Speaks

“Don't get me wrong: These people love the Patriots. But they wake up and want to know what happened to the Red Sox. I mean, they really care. It's unbelievable. I've never seen anything like it. It's part of what's so good. But I'm right smack in the middle of it, and it gives me a headache sometimes. I know what it means to these people. I just want to do what's right for our team. I love living through this with them.”
