Courtesy ARA
In today's economic times, it's more important than ever to protect the investment in your vehicle - whether it's a vintage collector, luxury car or an everyday car. Letter From Herb
The Growth Continues...
Often, the first month of the New Year sets the tone for what’s to come for the balance of the year. If January 2010 is any benchmark, we’re off to a great 2010! You see, it’s important in our business to never stagnate, always strive to be nimble and to take advantage of great opportunities.
Lately, we’ve been busy applying these principles by continuing our aggressive growth and acquisition program, this time to add our 31st brand and newest nameplate to the largest family of vehicle brands in all of New England. Starting in early February, you’ll be able to shop Herb Chambers KIA of Burlington! And, if you’re looking for value and want a precision engineered, economical, sturdy and all-around stylish and well-equipped daily driver…this is a great choice. Not only is KIA a “cousin” of Hyundai through brand ownership, (Hyundai is the remarkable and fastest growing vehicle brand in this country), but it has benefited greatly from the technology transfer of Hyundai’s tried and true state-of the-art manufacturing techniques along with adopting its’ impressive quality standards. Not surprisingly, we’re rolling the red carpet out on this one during our company wide “Presidents Day Sales Event” and can assure you some pretty sweet KIA deals!

2010 Cadillac SRX
All-new crossover has new roots.
courtesy New Car Test Drive
The 2010 Cadillac SRX is all-new for the 2010 model year.
There's nothing left of the original SRX but the name. Whereas the original SRX used a rear-wheel-drive platform with a longitudinal engine and a choice of V6 or V8, the new version is built on a front-wheel-drive platform with a transverse-mounted V6 engine.
Now that GM officially has a future as a viable car company, we think the SRX is worth a long look from those who are looking to downsize and economize.

Most Popular 2010 Cars
Courtesy forbes.com
To compile our list, we used data provided by Ward's Automotive Group, a publisher of industry news and data, as well as automaker-supplied data as a confirmation of dealer inventory levels. A low days' supply and low retail turn rate (the amount of time a car spends on the lot) mean some dealers may have sold out of a vehicle, have only a few of them, or have limited trim choices available. Vehicles with the lowest days' supply made our initial list, which we narrowed using J.D. Power and Associates' average retail turn rate for each segment in November.

2010 Ford Mustang
Completely redesigned, better handling, more power.
courtesy New Car Test Drive
The Ford Mustang is all-new for 2010. Everything but the roof on the 2010 Mustang is new. And it's all good, all improved over the superb 2004-2009 version of America's pony car.
We found the 2010 Mustangs quieter and more refined than the previous models. More important, the 2010 Mustang GT is an absolute blast to drive, quick off the mark with a brawny sound. The clutch pedal is light and easy to use in heavy traffic and the manual shifts smoothly. The handling is crisp, the suspension feels tight, and the brakes work better in this latest generation.
The Mustang has been in continuous production for 45 straight years, and more than 9 million Mustangs have been built and sold to date. That gives the Mustang the longest production run of any single model in Ford history.

Avatar
Courtesy cinemablend.com
Avatar isn't the future of movies; it's the past. Telling a story as old as Westerns, swashbucklers and epics, and hell, Greek mythology, it's a classical adventure story that happens to look very, very different from anything we've seen before. That revolutionary look is the reason people are rightly calling the movie a game-changer, but don't be fooled-- Avatar is as old-fashioned and romantic as Titanic, and thrillingly, just as wonderful to watch.
A rousing, play-it-to-the-rafters adventure story wrapped around a deep romance, Avatar is the exactly the James Cameron movie you would expect after 11 years in the making, a masterful combination of technology and the kind of storytelling that's made movies work since the beginning...

2010 Toyota Sienna
More, much more, than meets the eye
courtesy AutoGuide.com

Ahhh… the mundaneness of it all. Few, if any, vehicles exemplify the very word and feeling of dull better than the innocuous minivan. That pedestrian people mover that goes about its daily task of reliably and safely carrying its thirty-something moms and endless soccer playing teens and tots to their destinations of choice. And all the while fading serenely into the background clutter of traffic congestion and parking lot mayhem.

Berries and Buttermilk Puddings
Courtesy epicurious.com
Yes, buttermilk is good for tender griddlecakes and baked goods, but as these delicate individual puddings show, its tangy flavor is not to be taken for granted. The sauce that tops the puddings begins with a red-wine syrup mulled with citrus and a bay leaf and then puréed with strawberries. A final scattering of mixed berries gives a down-home touch to something that is, at heart, wonderfully curious and complex.
